In Japanese legend, anyone who folds a thousand paper cranes will be granted a wish, such as recovery from illness or long life.
Just purchased this Paper Cranes poster from This Paper Ship with 90% of their proceeds going to the American Red Cross to help Japan. I know there are many routes on the www right now we can take to contribute in aiding Japan, this is one of my small donations and a meaningful addition to my home.
